Day 9 Monmouth to Morchard Road
\nLongest day on the route (119 miles), which is a little scary. However we will be (hopefully) refreshed after a decent nights sleep in Pauls tent and have the prospect off another comfortable night if we reach Mike & Kathy’s OK. Maybe even a shower!.
\nHead south to Chepstow and over the old Severn Bridge. Although its the M48, there is a cycle\/footpath across it. Then broadly speaking run parallel to the M5 along the A403 & A38, through Bristol, Bridgewater, Taunton & Tiverton. The final bit from Tiverton to Morchard Rd is all along minor roads, which will be nice, so long as we don’t get lost………..
\nHopefully arrive at Mike & Kathys in time for a wash and brush up, and a spot of fundraising at the Devonshire Dumpling.
