After yesterdays very late arrival, none of us were too keen on another early start, so after a bit of a lie in and a very relaxed breakfast and preparation, time was moving in. It was nice to wake up to sunshine, so took the opportunity to dry clothes and shoes etc. but meant it was nearly 10am before we set off. We decided to aim for Gretna Green, which would leave us exactly a day ahead of schedule
