Day 4 (pt1) Tarbet to Helensburgh or Kilcreggan
We have a choice to make depending where we found to stay. Either follow down Loch Lomond (A82) then fork right to Helensburgh, to catch ferry to Gourock. Or, follow the A814 down alongside Loch Long on to Kilcreggan and catch the ferry there. Either way, timing is fairly important as the ferry only goes 4 times during the day from Helensburgh. Day 4 (pt2) Gourock to Troon
Basically follow the coastline down through Irvine, to arrive in Royal Troon in time for a round of golf??. Well, it will probably be tee time.
